I like this one a LOT better than the last one, not just because there's a pretty background on it. Originally, the pic didn't even have a background, but Matt asked me to throw one in there, so I did. Because I'm just that nice. I did the background digitally, so there's a few flaws here and there, mostly with the lighting and detail... The rain and the fog effects turned out especially nice. Probably the biggest challenge was drawing the tiny rain droplets coming off of Freya's hair, hat and spear. It took me a while, but I'm very pleased with the final result. The border was put on there randomly...to make it look...arty. Or something. Just a vain attempt at making myself look professional. :D

Nice. Excellent job with the rain effects and the illusion of the character being soaked with rain. :) I've never played nor seen Final Fantasy IX, but from the looks of this artwork, I may be intrigued enough to learn more about the game. All I know is that FFIX is a medieval type game so I'm thinking the ruins in the background are the remains of a castle? Anyways, the use of fog and the greying the tone of the sky down conveys a sense of a storm. Such an artwork displays the masterful use of Photoshop by the artist. Once again, an excellent piece of art. Great job. 8-)

The detail here is wodnerful. I love the background, and the rain, which is lovely, and the fog. Very nice!

Fantastic.
The line art is excelent, but the colors and background and mist and rian effect make this so awesome. They really bring out story, and your color choices (for background) are excelent with her red and bright outfit.
