Holy shitbuckets.
Well, if you're curious as to what I've been doing for the last three days, then here's your answer. I've been feeling bad (really bad) about my total lack of art lately, especially with commissions and other crap I gotta do. That, on top of getting interviewed for a really awesome job and then not getting it... well, I've been super fucking depressed over the past week, and I needed something to snap me out of it and get me into a drawing mood again. SO. I figured I'd colour something. I found this hella-awesome colouring tutorial by ~TheNass, so I searched DA for some suitable lineart to practice on and got started. It was relatively easy (and fun as hell) once I got the hang of it. I really didn't intend to take it THIS far (READ: finish it at all), but... there ya go. XD There's still a couple of things that are 'eh' (like the shading on Ed's glove *gag*), but I chalk that up mostly to my inability to keep a consistent light source. 8D Regardless, I think I did pretty well for a first attempt. Enjoy! Oh, and for all you TL;DRs out there, allow me to reiterate that I DID NOT DRAW THE LINEART. I just spewed colour onto it. The original lineart is by *Makotron, and can be found HERE.
