Yeah. So this is what I've been working on off and on over the last four days.
This is my entry for *ShikakuSuika's Pokémon Trainer Contest--the premise of which is to draw yourself as a trainer, with your Pokémon team. :B
So, starting from left to right we have:
Me, looking like the bastard cross of Sora and Kakashi
Jemaine, the Quilava
Elvis, the Nidoking
Spike, the Pikachu
Luna, the Umbreon
Gengar, and Gyarados, both of which are nameless.
I love how the colouring turned out on this one, especially on Elvis and Gengar. I'm slowly starting to get the hang of Open Canvas again. I daresay it was even FUN colouring this time around. :> Drawing it was kind of a pain, for a number of reasons--I've been slightly art blocked this week, trying to figure out the composition was a bitch and a half, and drawing a Gyarados without making it look insanely retarded is a little more difficult than I imagined.
But I'm proud of this image. I think that it was enough to get me out of this art-less funk I'm in.
Whoa! You've actually made pokemon look respectable! They actually look really cool, especially Gengar (thats the mad black thing yeah? It's been ages since I've played it!) The shading is really good too. *jealous*
Oh and I love your trainer character, looks so badass.
--
To relax I get empty smarties tubes and put them on cat's legs so they walk like a robot.
This is so cool, the coloring is amazing and the composition is well put together. I think the Quilava and the Gengar are my favorites, especially the lighting on the gengar.
